Manufacturing Process

Descaling occurs via acid pickling in HF-HNO₃ solution. Stress relief annealing at 650°C removes forming stresses. Final bright finishing uses precision grinding for surface roughness under 0.8μm Ra.

To find interior cavities, we use 100% ultrasonic testing in accordance with AMS 2631. ICP spectrometry confirms chemistry, paying particular emphasis to the interstitial elements (O, N, and H) that regulate ductility.

Yield strength and elongation are confirmed by tensile testing in accordance with ASTM E8. Formability is verified by bend testing. Every shipment is accompanied by EN 10204 3.1 certificates with complete heat tracking. Upon request, SGS, BV, or TÜV can conduct a third-party inspection.
