Dished End Caps - High-Performance Titanium Closures
LINHUI TITANIUM produces high-quality Dished End Caps in Grade 2 and Grade 5 titanium alloys in accordance with ASTM B363/ASME SB363 specifications. Our product line includes DN15-DN600 (NPS 1/2"-24), which is designed to withstand corrosion in challenging industrial settings.
Laser calipers, ultrasonic flaw detectors, hardness testers, surface smoothness testers, metallographic microscopes, and electronic testing equipment are used to rigorously verify the quality of each product. We provide factory-direct End Caps that satisfy PED 2014/68/EU, NORSOK M-650, and EN 10204 traceability criteria for international chemical processing, maritime, and aerospace applications thanks to our 200+ tons of stock inventory and decades of metallurgical experience.

Key Features & Benefits
For piping systems and pressure vessels, our End Caps offer outstanding sealing performance. Under heat cycling, the dished design prevents fatigue cracking by distributing stress evenly.
For cold forming processes, grade 2 caps provide exceptional ductility. Grade 5 is 45% lighter and has three times the tensile strength of steel. In seawater and acidic environments, both grades withstand stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride.
ASME B16.9 pipe components are seamlessly integrated thanks to precision production. In safety-critical installations, complete material traceability through heat number tracking ensures compliance.

Manufacturing Process
We employ controlled hot-forming techniques for dished geometries. Titanium billets are heated to 850-950°C and pressed using hydraulic dies. CNC machining ensures precise edge beveling for weld preparation.
Each cap receives annealing treatment at 700°C to relieve forming stresses. Pickling in HNO₃-HF solution removes surface oxides. Thickness tolerance is maintained within ±0.05mm through laser-guided quality checks.
Final dimensions undergo coordinate measuring machine (CMM) verification before packaging.
Quality Inspection
· PMI Testing: XRF analysis confirms alloy composition per ASTM B363
· Ultrasonic Testing: Detects internal defects >0.5mm
· Dye Penetrant Inspection: Verifies surface integrity on weld bevels
· Hydrostatic Testing: 1.5x design pressure proof test available
· EN 10204 3.1/3.2: Full material traceability certificates provided
Applications Of Dished End Caps
