Product introduction:

The performance and characteristics of titanium wire are filamentary materials made of titanium or titanium alloy, with a diameter range of 0.1mm to 8.0mm, and have the characteristics of light weight, high strength, strong corrosion resistance, and excellent biocompatibility.

Titanium wire production process:

1. Melting: Use a vacuum consumable arc furnace or plasma arc melting to ensure uniform composition and impurity content <0.1%;

2. Drawing:

Hot drawing: temperature 700-900℃, used for large diameter titanium wire processing;

Cold drawing: room temperature precision drawing, suitable for ultra-fine wire, surface roughness Ra≤0.2μm;

3. Heat treatment: solution aging treatment optimizes strength and toughness;

4. Surface treatment: anodizing, sandblasting, or plating.

Titanium wire performance characteristics:

Lightweight: density 4.51g/cm³, specific strength is significantly better than traditional metals;

Corrosion resistance: a dense TiO₂ oxide film is formed on the surface, which can resist corrosive media such as seawater and strong acid;

Versatility: It has both high temperature stability and low temperature toughness, and is suitable for extreme environmental requirements.
